台中市城市形象推廣之海報創作研究

摘要


中國經濟力的崛起,經濟力已穿透了國與國的界線,亞洲城市與城市間的互動更加密切,台北、上海、北京、東京、首爾、香港、新加坡等大城市面臨全球城市文化與建築創意競爭,每個城市都急需要找到屬於自己的定位。台中是台灣僅次於台北市和高雄市的第三大城市,台中市亦因人文薈萃,而有「文化城」的美譽,在這波亞洲城市競逐的舞台,台中市將以文化創意的思惟找到聚焦點。 綜觀從台中市當代軌跡到新文化的未來願景,共可分為七大意象,如:生活意象、歷史意象、文化意象、建築意象、景觀意象、自然意象、風俗意象等,本創作主題以上列意象為表現題材,在內容的歸類可分為四大類:一、台中的願景與展望。二、台中的生活與人文。三、台中的自然與生態。四、台中特產與特色。將七大意象的屬性與四大方向作為創作的架構與切入點。 平面設計的領域中,海報設計是文化表現力的最高表現,也是視覺效果最強烈的平面媒體,此一系列海報創作希望透過平面海報創意方式,將台中的城市意象及文化創意轉化為經濟產業、文化藝術並讓台中擁有新面孔、提高台中城市能見度與自信心、提升市民的參與感與國際觀,並且透過視覺傳達的傳播方式,將台中的文化力向外拓展!最後將此創作研究之經驗與成果撰寫成論述,供後進創作者研究參考。

With the abrupt rise of China’s economic power, the economic power (of Asia) has penetrate the boundaries of countries, the interaction among cities in Asia has become more close, the metropolises such as Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Singapore have faced the competition of global city culture and architecture originality, and each city needs urgently to find its own orientation. Taichung is the third biggest city in Taiwan that is second only to Taipei City and Kaohsiung City, and because of gathering of talents, Taichung City has the good reputation of “cultural city.” On this stage of intense competition among Asian cities, Taichung City will find its focus with thought of cultural originality. To make a comprehensive survey from contemporary traces of Taichung City to future vision of new culture, there are seven major images, such as living image, historical image, cultural image, architectural image, landscape image, natural image, and custom image. The theme of the artistic creation took the above-mentioned images as subject matters of expression, and the content could be divided into four main categories: 1. Taichung’s vision and prospect; 2. Taichung’s life and culture; 3. Taichung’s nature and ecology; 4. Taichung’s specialties and features. The attributes of seven major images and the four main directions were adopted to be the framework and crucial points. In the field of graphic design, poster design has the highest performance power of culture, and is the graphic medium of the strongest visual effect. Via the way of poster originality, the series poster creation hoped to transform Taichung’s city image and cultural originality into economic industry, culture and art, let Taichung have a new face, elevate Taichung City’s visibility and confidence, promote citizens’ sense of participation and international outlook, and expand Taichung’s cultural power outwardly through visual communication! Finally, the experience and achievements of the artistic creation research were written into the exposition for the research and reference of junior artistic creators.
