臺灣已為高齡社會,從人力資源角度而言,高齡者常被認為會造成社會負擔,忽略高齡者其實也是社會工作的主要人力來源。本研究分析高齡者參與志願服務對其能量管理之影響,並進一步探討高齡者參與志願服務所需的激勵要素,冀藉此降低社會成本並提昇高齡者之能量品質。本研究問卷調查臺中縣市65(含)歲以上高齡者,有效樣本315份,回收率51%。 經變異數分析及卡方檢定結果發現: 一、目前參與志工之高齡者,較目前未參與志工之高齡者,顯著擁有較佳能量管理能力。 二、未來有意願當志工之高齡者,較未來無意願當志工之高齡者,顯著擁有較佳能量管理能力-尤其在身體、心智及精神等三能量構面。 三、屬於不同人口統計變數、志工背景及身體狀況之高齡者,彼此間之能量管理能力也具顯著差異性。 本研究建議:專科、高中職畢業之高齡者,情緒能量顯著較佳,適合參與醫院、學校、宗教及交通急難救助之社會服務;志工年資高者,情緒能量顯著較佳,適合參與醫院、學校、宗教及交通急難救助之社會服務;體能佳者,身體能量顯著較佳,適合參與環保社區、社會福利、文化休閒體育及交通急難救助之社會服務;視力佳者,心智能量顯著較佳,適合參與學校、宗教、政治團體之社會服務;所得較低之高齡志工,志工團體可提供餐點,以增加其參與志工之意願。
From human resources perspective, the elders are thought to be social burdens. In fact, people neglect that the elders are also major human resources. This study aims to analyze the influence of involvement of voluntary service on delders self-energy management. This study used questionnaire survey to collect data. Total effective samples are 315, with a response rate of 51%. ANOVA and Chi-square tests are utilized. The results show as follows. 1. Those who are involving in voluntary service significantly have better self-energy management than those who are not involving in voluntary service. 2. The elders who will be involved in voluntary service are significantly have better self-energy management than those who will not. 3. The elders with different demographic characterics, different background and different physical conditions are different on self-energy management capabilities. This study suggests that the elders graduated from college and above, are suitable for work in hospital, shool, religious organization and traffic rescue team. Elders have more experienced in social work are suitable for social work in hospital, shool, religious and traffic rescue team; Elders have better physical conditions are suitable for social work in environmental community, social welfare, culture leisure sports and traffic rescue team. Elders have good eyesight are suitable for social work in shool, religious and political groups. Finally, for those elders with low-income, people can provide meals to increase their willingness to involve in voluntary services.
