兒童課後照顧服務中心經營現況與精進方案之探討

近年來因為台灣社會家庭型態的改變，許多雙薪家庭的父母都需工作，學齡孩童面臨到下課後家長無法親自照顧及陪同完成功課，為了因應現代家庭的需求，便有兒童課後照顧中心的成立，學童家長們除了可以安心工作，也不用擔心孩童的課業與安全問題。兒童課後照顧中心大多開設在學區附近，因此在國小附近常常可以看到各家兒童課後照顧服務中心林立，如此一來，在相互競爭下，也產生教學品質及削價競爭等問題。研究結果發現，隨著科技日漸發達，兒童照顧服務中心也開始有轉型的趨勢，而新型態包含了在家自學及組成共學團等，因為新型態的模式尚未發展完全，其效果還需商確，在人員方面，教師每年需固定回訓，提升自我專業知識外，行政人員也需要加強文書能力以及溝通能力，以便協助處理文件以及家長溝通招生上，為滿足家長對學童學科成績的期待，兒童課後照顧中心除保障學童學習的環境安全外，同時也需要輔導學童的學科成績，通常會利用評量或中心自編的教材。目前兒童課後照顧中心發展的機會還是大於威脅，雖然面對少子化衝擊，家長對於兒童課後照顧中心還是有需求，因此，經營者應思考將中心的教學設備更新外，也必須要考量人員的福利，如此一來，中心方能永續經營。
