802.11n射頻前端模組低雜訊放大器實作與模擬

摘要


本論文提出了一種新的方法來實現應用於無線網路802.11n的低雜訊放大器與射頻開關模組的旁路電路。不同於傳統的方法,即用解碼器模式和RF開關來控制,這種方法採用二極體來控制。 我們剛開始先利用晶圓廠所提供的電晶體模組開始,進而到IC電路與PCB電路的分析,以建立完整的模擬電路,最後在進行實作與量測,並將量測的結果與模擬的數據來作比較。 此外,旁路模組的輸入和輸出反射損耗操作在小於-20dB可通過,使用這種方法,而不會引入額外的阻抗匹配電路,它會增加由一個MMIC晶片來實現。 這種方法提供訊號衰減的控制和更小的晶片尺寸實現旁路模式能夠擁有操作更好的精度。

In this paper, a new method is proposed to implement the by pass circuit for 802.11n RFLNA/Switch modules. Unlike traditional method, which uses decoder for mode and RF switch control, this method adopts diodes only for controlling. First, followed by the design of DC bias, input matching, and output matching. Finally, the LNA was fabricated and the performance was measured through a print circuit evaluation board. The measurement and simulation results were compared and the effect of evaluation board was also analyzed so that the measurement result would have a good agreement with simulation result. Also, less than-20dB input and output return loss under by pass mode operation can be achieved by using this method without introducing extra impedance matching circuit which would increase the diesize of a MMIC chip. This method provides a better accuracy of signal attenuation control and less die size implementation for bypass mode operation.
