近年來國內已鋪設多條轉爐石瀝青混凝土道路,且其鋪面服務良好,皆因轉爐石磨耗性、硬度、粒型皆較天然骨材優良,適合做為瀝青混凝土使用之材料。為了因應轉爐石瀝青混凝土道路損壞後,其刨除料再利用價值,特將轉爐石刨除料應用於再生瀝青混凝土。本研究針對轉爐石再生瀝青混凝土與一般再生瀝青混凝土的差異性比較,其目的在於增加轉爐石刨除料的使用性,以及減少其堆置等問題。 本研究結果顯示,轉爐石刨除料因其骨材本身的諸多優點,使轉爐石再生瀝青混凝土之各項力學性質皆較一般再生瀝青混凝土為優,包含轉爐石再生瀝青混凝土之結構性較為緻密、回彈模數與抗潛變能力較佳。綜合多種試驗結果,發現轉爐石刨除料使用量30%時,其再生瀝青混凝土性質最佳。
Because basic oxygen furnace (BOF) slag has better abrasion resistance, hardness, and particle shape than that of the natural aggregates and is suitable used as asphalt concrete materials, a few of the BOF slag pavements have been constructed in recent years and well perform. To properly reuse the recycled asphalt pavement after the damage of the BOF slag pavement, the recycled BOF slag is applied to the reclaimed asphalt concrete in this study. Moreover, to increase the applicability and reduce problems caused by the resource dumping site of the recycled BOF slag, the object of this study is to compare the differences between the reclaimed BOF slag asphalt concrete and regular reclaimed asphalt concrete. Results obtained from this study show that the reclaimed BOF slag asphalt concrete has better mechanical properties than that of the regular reclaimed asphalt concrete. The reclaimed BOF slag asphalt concrete has a denser structure and better resilient modulus and creep resistance than that of the regular reclaimed asphalt concrete. It suggests that the reclaimed asphalt concrete with 30% reclaimed BOF slag replacement well performs in different tests.
