近年來視障人口有逐漸增加的趨勢,因為視覺的障礙以致於在休閒選擇上多了很多限制。在科技日新月異的今天這樣小眾族群的生活休閒,也漸漸需要關注。本研究目的針對視障孩童的學習需求進行訪談,針對問題點做概念的發想與設計。音樂律動如同語言的學習與字彙表達,透過肢體能加強自我的展現。本研究分為兩個概念的實現,一個是振動搭配音樂引導律動,硬體方面由USB介面控制板結合固態繼電器及振動器;另一個是氣流搭配音樂引導律動,與USB介面控制板結合SSR及空壓機、氣流支架。兩者在概念的發想後並建構出系統雛型,硬體與搭配介面軟體軟體是Microsoft Visual Studio2005作為開發工具。並以觀察法了解視障孩童的律動學習需求。 進行初步試用時,振動器部份將微型振動器用魔鬼氈固定於四肢並以電腦控制開關及搭配音樂作測試。結果顯示盲童缺乏平衡感,在抬腳的動作中最為明顯,他們不時的用手輕扶桌緣,以使平衡。在氣流部分發現他們能受風的影響而移動,受測者為了尋找出氣孔而展開雙臂,也能引發律動意願。概念設計的輔助可以有效降低視障學童的律動學習障礙。
In recent years, the visually impaired population has slowly grown. Due to the impairment they have less choice on the leisure activities to take. In the world today with the ever-changing technology, recreational activities of this minority groups slowly comes into attention. The purpose of this study is to interview visually impaired children about their learning needs, and to tackle the problem with new design concepts. Music and rythm, like language learning and expression, use one''s body to enhance the expression of one''s self. In this study, observations were carried out on those visually impaired children to learn their needs on rhythm learning. After the concept design stage, prototypes were made covering both the hardware and interfacing software. The hardware includes an USB interface control panel, with SSR (solid state relay) and vibrators. The software was developed on Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. A preliminary trial was carried out, by attaching mini-vibrator on the limbs with Velcro bands and then uses a computer to control the music and switches. The results showed that visually impaired children lack the sense of balance, especially when lifting the knees. They have to balance themselves by holding to the table. The gas injection motivated approach was also investigated. It shows children follow and approach the gas outlet. The observation indicated that gas and vibrator assitive rhythm learning facility are effective way to help those chldren with mild visual impairment.
