本研究參考了傅柯(Michel Foucault)的規訓,從歷史文獻出發而後延伸到現代生活中對身體規訓的資料收集,並且加入了電影相關文本的討論,藉由文本的討論獲得心得結論,進而嘗試實驗操作,最後發展program,將其置入一個生活的容器-「家」中。 談及到規訓,首先聯想到的便是監獄空間,犯人因為犯罪而進入到監獄中,進行身體及精神的修正。在此提出問題探討的出發點是-除了犯罪者的監獄規訓外,規訓是否隱然於生活中?生活中的規訓可能是以符號、文字、標示,無形的或有形的警告、禁止、監視與限制著我們的身體。身處於都市生活中,我們只要仔細觀察,便可以嗅出含有規訓的訊息充斥在生活中。例如馬路上標示著禁止變換車道的雙白線或是為了讓駕駛者能開車上路,必須先在駕訓班進行訓練,駕訓班猶如一個濃縮道路符號規訓的場所。還有例如學校教室中連結在一起的桌椅,被整齊緊湊的排置在教室空間中,身體必須蜷縮才能套進課桌椅的空間內,這是為了讓學生的坐姿保持一定的姿勢。從生活中可見與不可見的規訓中,本研究期望能藉由觀察現代生活空間裡的規訓,發現身體與空間相互間力量的拉扯所產生的流動,提出一種新的討論與設計思維。
According to Michel Foucault’s discipline, the search is collecting the human physical discipline from the history paper work to the modern living life.Furthermore, the research also adds the discussion of the movie script, and we would like to use that information to do some experiments. Finally, we can develop the program and put the conclusion into the living container – the idea “Home”. When we talked about the discipline, the prison would come to our mind.Prisoners go to jail because of their criminal behavior, and the prison will teach them how to judge right from wrong. What is our point? Beside the prison discipline, are there any “Discipline “ in our daily life? It can be like a symbol, words, signal or any invisible warnings. Those things are watching and limiting our body and mind. Nowadays we are living in the city, if you are watching carefully; we can feel everything is disciplined in our life. For example, those signboards on the road are sending the message that to notice people should go to the driver school before driving on the road. The driving school is like a place that condensed road symbol discipline. Furthermore, In order to let student focus on the class the chairs and tables which are connected together and placed straight in the school. The project would expect to find out the interaction between the physical and the volume though observing the discipline in the daily life. For the above reasons, the project could bring up a new design thinking.
