Abstract The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships between transformational leadership and organizational development and to understand about the situation of transformational leadership in the life insurance industry in Taiwan. Data were from the salespersons of life insurers and were analyzed using questionnaires. In order to analyze the difference between population statistics impact on organizational development of the life insurance industry, a total of 107 copies of valid questionnaires were distributed. The results can be concluded as the following: 1. The transformational leadership has significant influences on Organizational development in the life insurance industry. 2. Different demographic variables have parts of significant relations on Organizational development in the life insurance industry. According to our study’s results, expect the life insurance industry has substantive assistance in the future organizational development.
