摘要 本研究是以嬰兒手推車產業個案為例,探討其設計研發流程改善為主題。研究者所秉持的假設前提,乃是一般業者在研發管理方面最須加強的部分,應該就是如何做好設計品質之管控,以縮短研發時程並降低設計成本。其所以會選擇嬰兒手推車企業作為研究對象,除了因緣際會是主因以外,主要仍是因為個案企業的設計生產相當講求安全、質優、物美、價廉的特性,而且有意進行設計研發流程改善,與研究者的設計理念頗為契合。 雖是以嬰兒手推車產業個案作為研究探討之對象,但為擴大研究結果之應用範圍,故在研究成果與結論之撰寫方面,仍儘可能設想提高其適用於不同產業之可能性;在此原則下針對合宜之設計研發流程標準、提出完整的系統化探討與建議,以供業者作為推動管理改善之參考依據。 根據本研究對個案企業診斷之結果,認為其問題之根源大都在於缺乏新產品設計開發流程之作業細則;而且此種情況對台灣的中小企業界而言應屬相當普遍之現象。因此,研究者乃經由對個案企業新產品開發過程之親自參與觀察、對經營階層的深度訪談,以及對設計研發相關人員之焦點團體座談等途徑進行資料蒐集、問題之整理與分析、對策之研擬等步驟,最後將所有研究結果之問題對策加以整合,而呈現於「新產品企劃階段作業辦法」、「新產品設計階段作業辦法」、「新產品驗證階段作業辦法」,以及「設計變更作業管理辦法」等四項標準作業流程細則的制訂當中,作為本研究之主要結論。 雖然上述之四項主要結論,均屬針對個案企業所浮現的問題所提出的對策;但從研究者過去接觸其他產業之經驗加以比較,可知該等問題應該具有相當的普遍性,並非專屬少數產業之特例。所以本研究的結論對於一般產業而言,在設計研發流程的改善方面均有其應用上的參考價值。 關鍵字:產品設計、產品企劃、設計品質管控、設計研發流程改善。
This study investigated a case study in the baby trolley industry as an example, was aimed at exploring the improvement of process standards for product development. The research assumption was that the most urgently needed improvement of product development among average Taiwanese enterprises might be the improvement of product development quality, in order to reduce the time to market and development cost. Although this research took a case study in the baby trolley industry as an example, the researcher still hope that the result could be generalized to apply in wider industries. Therefore, the result of this research had been written with this point in mind. According to the initial investigation on the research case, this research assumed that almost all the presented problems were stemmed from a lack of detailed process standards for product development, which was very popular among Taiwanese companies. Even the individual problems presented in the research case were mostly quite popular. Therefore, this research was conducted through methods such as Participatory Action Research, in-depth interviews, and focus group interviews for collecting research data, then solutions were explored and finally four detailed standards were proposed as the major research result of this research, they were “Process Standards for the Stage of Product Planning”, “Process Standards for the Stage of Product Design”, “Process Standards for the Stage of Design Verifications”, and “Process Standards for Design Changes”. Although the standards were written accordance with problems presented in the research case, they were mostly typical and popular problems presented in average industries. Therefore, it was deemed that the research results of this research could be generalized and useful in a wide range of industries.
