網路管理學習之遠距實驗系統

摘要


近年來網路已經成為人們生活的一部份,因此網路人才的需求量很大,所以各級學校也紛紛開始教授網路相關課程。像是網頁設計、資料庫建立、伺服器架設等等各種不同的課程,被廣泛的在學校中教授。在這些課程中,網路設計與架設的相關課程,較少被完整的教授給學生。 在教授基礎的網路課程時,只需要使用一些線材,和幾部Hub或Switch就足夠了。可是網路管理相關課程的接線與設定非常的複雜,需要使用的設備很多。這樣的設備花費是很高的,一般的學校無法準備很多套的實驗設備供學生同時練習。因為實驗的困難度較高,無法在短時間內完成練習,在每次上課的時間內可能只有少數的學生能夠進行練習,使得學生們沒辦法獲得足夠的練習。因為實驗設備建置費用昂貴,無法充分採購使學生們有充足的設備可練習等因素,使得很多學校在教授這種進階的網路管理課程有些困難。 因此,本篇論文以CISCO公司的CCNA教材的網路實驗室為例,設計一套連結網路實驗設備的架構以及一個專用的伺服器,將網路實驗設備連結上網路。提供了HTML的介面讓學生能預約做實驗的時段,在預約的時段從遠端進行網路架設課程的實驗練習,並且提供上課老師管理的功能。這樣的實驗平台,能讓學生在任何時間進行網路實驗的練習,大幅增加了網路管理課程的學習效率。老師可藉由伺服器內的紀錄,觀看學生進行網路實驗的學習成果。由於將學生做實驗的時間分散,增加了網路設備的使用率,實驗室不需要準備太多套的實驗設備,使得實驗室的設備準備成本下降,可以增加各學校開設相關課程的意願。

In recent years, the network has already become a part of people's usual life. Many schools have already begun to teach network courses, including webpage designs, database management and server installation, etc. While teaching the course of basic network, only some cables, several Hubs or Switches are required. Network wiring and configuration in the course of Network management are very complicated, it needing a lot of equipment. Such equipment cost is very high; the schools cannot supply enough experimental facilities for students generally. Most students cannot obtain enough exercise because the experiment is not only very difficult to finish in short time, but also a few students can practice these experiments within class time. So, the most of schools have difficulties to teach those advanced courses of network management. Some software development manufacturers have designed the network simulator, therefore, users can practice setting up the network without practical network equipment. Under that kind of simulator, users can build and construct a virtual network structure in the computer, set up the topology of the network, configure the network equipment according to the user's idea, and can connect network equipment using graphic interface. The simulation software can also imitate OS of the network equipment, let users set up the network equipment, test the whole network topology, and check whether the network structure designed is correct. For these reasons, this treatise design an architecture of linking network experimental device and a special-purpose server, use the network experimental device of CCNA authentication of CISCO Company, and link those experiment equipment of the network to the internet. This server offers the interface of HTML, let student can book his/her experiment time and login the server for exercise experiment from the remote place in scheduled time slot. In additional, the functions of teacher's management are also implemented in this system. The platform let student practice the experiment at any time, increase the learning efficiency of the construct network course greatly. The teacher can review students' experiment achievement through the records in the server. Because disperse the time of student's experiment, increase the rate of utilization of the network equipment, the laboratory does not need to prepare a lot sets of experimental facilities. Therefore, the equipment cost is dropped.
