NOKIA手機之時尚要素探討與設計應用

摘要


在一般產品設計的方法中,大多數是針對功能及使用者需求而創造出實際的產品,然而近七年來、由英國所帶領的時尚服飾風潮,卻逐漸影響了全球的產品市場,並帶動了整體的消費者習慣,另外,一部份的原因來自於消費者抬頭,消費者對於產品的要求不僅只在於價格,對於設計及風格的狂熱,足以影響全球的產品產業。本研究爲探討流行時尚與產品要素之間的影響,特以手機為例來探討手機具備的時尚要素,並證實流行時尚會直接影響現今的產品設計。同時本研究所進行之產品設計範例,特以流行之手錶、MP3、音樂播放器來實踐並反映本研究所解析之手機時尚要素。 本研究的研究方法中特以專業設計師訪談的方式來探討現今時尚的流行條件,更以問卷調查來了解大眾對於手機的喜好的要素,更深入的解析出現今手機設計要素與流行時尚相互關係。研究結果發現,時尚流行之商品比一般商品其有較短的生命週期特性,且時尚要素之設計應用不須拘泥於元素的既定特點,更需反應最新的流行要素及條件。

Usually a product is designed to fulfill some functions or satisfy some requirements of the users; thus it is generally made in a practical way. However, for these past 7 years, the trend of the fashion led by the British has gradually influenced the global market of products and has swayed the consumer’s habits totally. Part of the reasons for this is because the consumers are getting more and more choosy, and their demand for a product does not just involve in price like before, they also tend to get crazy for its design and style and such factors have become quite essential that they have influenced industries of products globally. This study is to explore the relationship between fashions and the elements of a product. Taking mobile phones as an example, we will discuss the fashionable elements that a mobile phone has and prove that a fashion will indeed influence the product design now. Meanwhile, the examples given for product design in this study include fashionable watches, MP3, music players and which will also reflect the fashionable elements that this study’s analysis is targeting. As for the methodology used in this study, we have especially done some interviews with several professional designers and discussed with them about what elements a product should have to become a fashion. Also we have distributed questionnaires around asking people questions and trying to understand what elements a mobile phone has that can attract a person. Furthermore, we will explore the interrelationship between fashions and the elements that the design of a mobile phone should have. And in the examples given in this study, man-made furs have been used because their softness can express an ethereal background to bring out the versatility of a product. The product can be variable and which flexible functions can be combined in all kinds of ways based on the user’s behaviors, so the complexity of this product extends. By converting such elements to different product designs, we can give a demonstration for future design and which will serve as a very good reference for later students.
