摘要


全球互通微波存取(WiMAX)是由國際電子電機工程師協會(IEEE)所制定新一代的無線都會區域網路(Wireless-MAN)標準。WiMAX除了將行動通訊與無線網路結合之外,其通訊涵蓋範圍更廣、資料傳輸速率更快並且在行動通訊的速度限制上有所突破。 軟體定義無線電(Software-Defined Radio)架構是近年來無線通訊研究領域中相當受到關注的通訊技術。由於無現通訊近年來的蓬勃發展,針對不同的通訊需求,各式各樣的通訊標準仍舊陸續的制定當中。軟體定義無線電技術能夠整合多樣化的通訊標準與多元化的通訊需求。 實現軟體定義無線電技術最大的問題為資料量過於龐大,造成一般的處理器無法提供即時的通訊服務。因此多核心處理器的架構就成為實現軟體定義無線電技術相當重要的方案,藉由高速運算與高效率的工作排程來彌補資料量過大的缺點。 本篇論文的將針對IEEE 802.16e 的標準以軟體定義無線電技術於多核心發展平台上實現WiMAX基頻通訊系統。

The last decade have seen growing importance place on research in wireless communication system. In recent years considerable concern has arisen over the software-defined radio (SDR) in wireless communication research. Multi-core processor have been widely used for the most advance SDR due to their high performance of signal processing. A recent surge of research on WiMAX has given us opportunities and challenges. In this paper, we will implementation of WiMAX baseband transceiver on multi-core Software-defined radio(SDR) platform.
