仿舊材質應用於產品設計之意象探討-以收音機為例

摘要


在這日新月異的時代,人們的工藝技術也不斷的提升,各種材質表面加工都可做出相當不錯的感覺,但不同材質有著不同的視覺及觸覺的感受,而仿舊材質帶著一股滄桑的風格,應用於產品設計上是否可提高產品的價值,更吸引消費者購買,是值得討論的議題。 本研究主要以仿舊材質為議題,探討仿舊材質之種類及構成要素,並以收音機為例,讓相同造形之收音機,使用不同之材質表面,應用於相同之產品部位,給予受測者進行情感(emotion)上之調查,蒐集受測者對於不同質感的收音機,在視覺上有哪些不同層面的心理感受。 首先需了解一般消費者會購買仿舊商品的情感意象為何,及仿舊材質所以吸引他們購買慾望原因,經由群集分析軟體進行分類,可將其分為四大群組,並各命名為滿足心理需求、喜好產品特殊質感、懷舊情感及喜好產品外觀獨特;最後設計一款收音機外觀,表面貼附各種不同材質,給予受測者進行上述四大項的實驗,實驗結果得知木質部分,深色木質紋路較受大眾認同具懷舊情感,故用於設計收音機仿舊時,比淺色木質紋路較為適合,且在喜好程度上也較受歡迎。 於金屬部分,舊化程度較為明顯的金屬材質,是較受大眾認同具懷舊情感的,但未必是較為喜好的,除非是在顏色的配置得宜,才有可能獲得大眾的喜好,故金屬的仿舊程度不宜過於強烈。 於布質部分,布質的舊化雖受大眾認為具懷舊情感,但普遍不受大眾喜愛,反倒是以懷舊復古的花色,較能吸引大眾的認同喜愛。 由上述可了解到材質的仿舊,影響的關鍵包含顏色、舊化程度及花色,不同材質應用不同的仿舊模式,在舊化的程度上也需仔細評估,且與整體的搭配亦須做完整的配合,才可設計出具仿舊且為大眾所能接受喜愛的產品。 最後,期望藉此研究結果,對於收音機該項產品材質的定位,提供有利的觀點與參考依據,例如木質的仿舊該是哪種色調的,或是金屬的仿舊其舊化的程度為何,布質的仿舊要如何讓使用者喜愛,整體的仿舊比例,該是完全的仿舊,還是部份的元件作舊化,都可由此論文內容中了解,讓未來想設計開發此產品時的材質考量出發點,才可設計出消費者真正想要的產品,不會只是浪費開發的費用,而徒勞或是用測試的方式了解市場。

Nowadays, technique in production is getting better. We can make a good quality on material surface through process. Different material will show different feeling on sense of sight and touch, for example, Age-Imitating Materials give us the feeling of worn out. It is worth to discuss that whether Age-Imitating Materials will raise the value of the product and have more attraction for consumers. This research use Age-Imitating Materials as a topic for discussion and radios for example. Subjects were shown many radios in the same shape but with different materials. It will test what kind of emotions when testers see different materials. Firstly, it needs to know why consumers are willing to buy Age-Imitating Materials products. Secondly, computer software were used to sort out four groups and named it as: content with needing, love to special material, cherish the past and love to special shape. Finally, a radio was designed with different material on the surface. This radio were shown to the subjects with above-mentioned four groups. The test shows that dark wood material is preferred by people than light wood material. On metal material part, it will show more feeling on cherish the past when product getting old, but it should be notice on color setting. On cloth part, it will show the feeling on cherish the past naturally especially on some pattern. From above results, it can be realized that Age-Imitating Materials will be effected by color, pattern…etc. Any kind of material should have a good matching, so that to design the Age-Imitating Materials, which is loved by people. In conclusion, it is hoped that people who want to design the product could take this results as a reference, so that they will consider the material more carefully before they design the product and will not waste their time and money.
