Molding process makes aspherical lense. the refractive index optical glass can reduce the volume of glass where applied for weight loss, small and portable devices, like cell phones and lens. Compare to other common optical glasses, bismuthate glass has the property of low glass transition temperature and high refrative index. In the research, the glasses which are chose from the glass systems Bi2O3-P2O5-GeO2(system A) and Bi2O3-P2O5-B2O3(system B) have been done hot pressure experiment. Fixed glass viscosity investigates deformation of the glasses. And the substrates(tungsten carbide and amorphous carbon)which is pressed with the difference composition glasses are investigated microstructures and discussed sticking degree and result. Under the DTA onset crystalline temperature, the research tries to know the glass of the range of heat treatment condition (temperature and time) for evaluation of molding ability of the bismuthate glasses.
