摘要


路德維希·范·貝多芬(Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770-1827)其人其樂不只為音樂創作樹立典範,也為人生哲學提供省思,是西洋音樂史深具影響力的音樂家。 本研究旨在探討貝多芬於一八一四年創作完成的《鋼琴奏鳴曲,作品九十》(Piano Sonata Op. 90)。首先,探討十八、十九世紀歐洲歷史及奏鳴曲沿革;其次,透過研究貝多芬生平、創作風格與鋼琴音樂,了解貝多芬音樂創作之本質;最後,針對貝多芬《鋼琴奏鳴曲,作品九十》之創作背景、結構探討與樂曲詮釋作深入研究。 經本研究發現,《鋼琴奏鳴曲,作品九十》於貝多芬既有的創作手法外,佐以心靈層面之音樂意涵,突破古典奏鳴曲形式之藩籬,引領浪漫樂派奏鳴曲之創作風格,亦可視為貝多芬中期銜接至晚期創作之轉捩點。

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) is one of the most influential composers in the history of Western music. His music and himself is not only a model for music compositions, but also offers insight to philosophy in life. This research aims to examine Beethoven's “Piano Sonata Op. 90”, composed in 1814. First, introducing the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in European history and the development of sonatas from seventeenth to early nineteenth centuries. Second, identifying the character in Beethoven's music compositions through observations of his life, composing style, and piano pieces. Last, a focused study on the composing background, structure, and music interpretation of Beethoven's “Piano Sonata Op. 90”. This research has found that “Piano Sonata Op. 90”, other than Beethoven's existing composing signatures, includes spiritual musical meaning, a breakthrough from the form of classical sonatas and leading the composing style of sonatas in the Romantic era. This can also be viewed as the turning point from middle to late period in Beethoven's creations.
