Due to the geographical location and political factors in history, Spain has led to multi-ethnic conflicts and fusion, and developed its own unique art culture with deep connotations. Local musicians such as Felipe Pedrell (1841-1922) and Isaac Albeniz (Isaac Albeniz, 160-1909) ), Enrique Granados (1867-1916), Falla (Manuel de Falla, 1876-1946) started the Spanish Piano Renaissance in nineteenth century, which enabled the world to re-understand Spanish piano music. This thesis starts from the diverse culture of Spain, discussing the development and style of Spanish music, including the rise of the Spanish national music school, the origin, development and analysis of Spanish Waltz, Granados’s life, and the style of composition.
