意識從無形到有形的轉化:以陶化形

摘要


當人類的第六感知途徑─「意識」(consciousness)受到外部刺激,是如何感受或加以詮釋,並且如何透過藝術創作敘事及表現?本創作研究將「意識從無形到有形的轉化」作為主軸,以認知科學、哲學的角度去解析筆者在對不同時空背景的人、事、物之間的對話,藉由文獻論著分析意識的意向性,以及意識在作品所表達的語彙,如:乳白線性造型、面部開口…等。並且探討相關藝術家如何將家庭、工作和生活體驗連結,透過陶藝創作的方式表現。運用捏條、變形等技法來塑造陶藝作品,並結合棉花、鐵網、尼龍線…等不同媒材,實踐與陶之間互相碰撞的火花。以陶藝作品為介質,分析人與人之間的關係、自我的思維與情感、社會文化環境,觸及心理層面的探討。 研究分為四個部份:一、解析意識與其意向性,藉由文獻論著分析意識的意向性,以及從無形到有形的轉化。二、從理論角度來探究,認知意識的各種型態,以藝術語彙代替語言解釋其創作脈絡,表現特定時空下的語言系統、立體造型結構以及具有相互關係的網絡。三、歸納、統整相關文獻資料,探討藝術家內心視界的傳達與情感、表現與語彙之關係。四、在創作上,以自身的經驗輔佐筆者探討以下兩點:首先,如何將意識轉化為造型,體現作品與筆者之間的連結。再者,陶、媒合媒材的轉化與結合問題。最後總結研究內容,同時,持續創作並嘗試不同媒材結合,與理論、實作兩者相互呼應,作為未來創作方向之指標。

When the sixth perception pathway of human beings "consciousness" is stimulated by the outside, how do we feel or interpret it, and how does it create narrative and performance through art? This creative research takes "the transformation of consciousness from intangible to tangible" as the main axis, and analyzes the author's dialogue between people, things and objects in different time and space backgrounds from the perspective of cognitive science and philosophy, and analyzes the intentionality of consciousness through literature works as well as the vocabulary expressed by consciousness in the works, such as: milky white linear modeling, facial openings...etc. The research is divided into four parts. First, the analysis of consciousness and its intentionality, the analysis of the intentionality of consciousness through literature works, and the transformation from intangible to tangible. Second, from a theoretical point of view, the various types of cognitive consciousness use artistic vocabulary instead of language to explain their creative context, and express the language system, three-dimensional modeling structure and interrelated network in a specific time and space. Thirdly, it summarizes and integrates relevant documents, and explores the relationship between the communication of the artist's inner vision and emotion, expression and vocabulary. Fourth, in terms of creation, the author uses his own experience to assist the author to discuss the following two points: First, how to transform consciousness into modeling to reflect the connection between the work and the author. Furthermore, the problem of transformation and combination of pottery and matching media. Finally, summarize the research content, and at the same time, continue to create and try to combine different media, echoing both theory and practice, as an indicator of future creative direction.
