應用?射技術處?高科技產業有機氯廢水之研究

Applying Radiation Technique to Treating Waste Water Containing Organic Chlorine of High Technology Industry

摘要


有機氯溶劑在國內的使用量相當龐大,造成潛在污染的隱憂,其中三氯乙烯及四氯乙烯是有機氯廢水中最常見的一種指標性污染物。本研究以輻射分解TCE及PCE之有機氯廢水為主要目的,實驗分為兩部分:一為Co-60照射廠照射γ-ray,劑量率為10Gy/min,照射劑量為0~2.5KGy;另一為UV照射系統,燈管規格為254nm,6W,可同時開啟8支照射。TCE及PCE濃度各為0.1ppm、1ppm、50ppm、100ppm、250ppm。實驗結果顯示γ-ray於各濃度的降解效率比UV佳,以0.1ppm為例,TCE降解到D90和T90時,γ-ray只需46.7Gy,需時4.67分鐘,UV則需28.1分鐘;PCE只需97.8Gy,需時9.78分鐘,UV則需32.8分鐘。以γ-ray降解0~100ppm之TCE及PCE的劑量-濃度公式分別為,TCE: y=44.577+8.832x,R²=0.999;PCE: y=81.335+12.814x,R²=0.997。本研究證實輻射技術能有效地降解有機氯廢水,經γ-ray降解後的TCE及PCE均能達到我國放流水標準(5ppb),且不會產生二次污染。應用輻射技術處理高科技事業性廢水中含氯有機物不僅有許多的優勢,而且不會產生二次污染,所以在環境保護上值得投入研究。

The using amount of organic chlorine solvents is enormous in Taiwan, thus it is become one of pollutants that are most widely spread in groundwater. This study is applied the concept of using radiation technology to degrade trichloroethylene(TCE) and perchloroethylene (PCE) wastewater, and also conducted the verification process by adopting other methods. In this experiment, research used the Co-60 and UV to irradiate and photo-decompose the TCE and PCE degrading wastewater solution. The experimental method is divided into 2 parts: (1) Using the γ-ray to irradiate the TCE and PCE solution, the dose-rate is 10Gy/min, the irradiation dosage is 0~2.5kGy; (2) Self-making the UV Irradiation System, the tube specification is 254nm and 6W, and turning on 8 tubes at the same time to make the irradiation. In addition, the concentrations of TCE and PCE are 0.1ppm, 1ppm, 50ppm, 100ppm and 250ppm. The efficiency of degradation ratio for γ-ray is better than UV’s in every concentration; for example, as for the concentration of 0.1ppm, when TCE is degraded to D90 and T90, the γ-ray only needed 46.7Gy and took about 4.67minutes, but UV needed to take about 28.1minutes. The dose-concentration equations of TCE and PCE are: TCE: y=44.577+8.832x, R²=0.999; and PCE: y=81.335+12.814x, R²=0.997. In this study, we verified that the radiation technology is able to effectively degrade the organic chlorine wastewater without yielding the secondary pollution, and the TCE and PCE that degraded by using γ-ray will be reached the Taiwan Effluent Standard (5ppb). The application of using radiation technology to treat the industrial wastewater has possessed more developing potential, and it is worth to develop and apply to the hope of green environmental protection.
