運用讀報教育提升國民小學一年級學生識字能力成效之研究

摘要


識字是閱讀的基礎,也是國民小學低年級學生最重要的閱讀發展目標,而報紙正是一份價格便宜且內容多元的教材。本研究旨在探討讀報教育對提升國小一年級學童的識字能力成效之研究,並進一步對不同背景變項之學童進行探討。 本研究採用前實驗研究之「單組前–後測設計」,以臺中市某國小一年級為實驗研究對象,研究者每週運用一期十六個版面的國語日報週刊進行實驗課程教學,共8週;並藉由問卷探討讀報教育對於不同家庭背景對學童識字能力的提升有無不同。 研究結果顯示: 一、讀報教育確實可以提升國小一年級學童的識字能力。 二、關於學童家庭各種變項對於實施讀報教育之國小一年級學童識字能力成效上均沒有顯著差異。 三、活潑多元的教學設計可以吸引學生注意力,搭配多元之評量方式更可提升學童的學習成效。 最後依結果對偏鄉學校、教師、家長及未來研究者提出建議。

Literacy is the foundation of reading, and it is also the most important reading development goal for the lower grade students of the elementary school. The newspaper is a textbook that is affordable and diverse in content. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of reading newspaper education on improving the literacy skills of the first grade elementary school students, and to further explore the students with different background variables. This study used the "single group pre-post test design" of the previous experimental study. Taking the first grade of a elementary school in Taichung City as the experimental research object, the researchers used a weekly sixteen-page edition of the Mandarin Daily Weekly to teach experimental courses for a total of 8 weeks. Through questionnaires, we explored whether newspaper reading education can improve the literacy of school children in different family backgrounds. The results of the study showed that: 1. The education of reading newspapers can indeed improve the literacy skills of the first grade elementary school students. 2. There were no significant differences in the effectiveness of the literacy skills of the first grade elementary school students who implement newspaper reading education with regard to the various variables of the school children’s families. 3. Lively and diverse instructional design attracted students' attention, with multiple evaluation methods to make learning effective. Finally, according to the results, suggestions are given to the rural schools, teachers, parents and researchers.
