臺中市國民小學教師多元文化素養與教學效能之相關研究

A Study of the Relationship between Multicultural Literacy and Teaching Effectiveness of Elementary School Teachers in Taichung City

摘要


摘 要 本研究旨在瞭解臺中市國民小學教師多元文化素養與教學效能之關係,以臺中市公立國小教師為研究對象,採問卷調查方式,共發放744份問卷,回收有效問卷709份,有效回收率達98.6%。回收資料以SPSS統計軟體進行描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析及Scheffe'事後比較法、Pearson積差相關、多元迴歸分析等統計方法進行分析,研究結論如下: 一、臺中市國小教師多元文化素養表現良好,其中以「多元文化認知」層面表現最佳。 二、臺中市國民小學教師在多元文化素養整體與分層面的表現上,會因學校位置不同而有差異;在 多元文化素養分層面的表現上,會因性別、學歷、學校規模之不同而有差異。 三、臺中市國小教師教學效能表現良好,其中以「班級經營」層面表現最佳。 四、臺中市國民小學教師在教學效能整體與分層面的表現上,會因年齡、學校位置不同而有差異; 在教學效能分層面的表現上,會因擔任職務之不同而有差異。 五、臺中市國小教師之多元文化素養與教學效能相關性為中等程度。 六、臺中市國小教師之多元文化素養對教學效能具有預測力,以「多元文化技能」對「整體教學效 能」最具預測能力。 最後,研究者依據研究結論提供建議,以供教育相關單位與後續研究者參考。 關鍵詞:臺中市國小教師、多元文化素養、教學效能

Abstract This study was aiming to investigate the relationship between multi-cultural competencies of teachers from Taichung elementary schools and the teaching effectiveness of teachers. Research was conducted through questionnaire survey with teachers from Taichung public elementary schools as the population. Samples of 744 questionnaires were distributed and 709 valid questionnaires were received resulting a 98.6% return rate. Run data analysis run on SPSS software for descriptive statistical analysis, Independent-Sample t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffé method, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression analysis. we conclude as follows: 1. Multi-cultural competencies of teachers from Taichung elementary schools revealed favorable result, with best shown in “multi-cultural acknowledgement”. 2. The overall and respective aspects results of Multi-cultural competencies of teachers from Taichung elementary schools vary due to different school locations; Respective aspects results of Multi-cultural competencies of teachers vary due to different genders, education backgrounds and size of the schools. 3. The teaching effectiveness of teachers, with “class management” to be the most beneficial aspect. 4. The overall result of the teaching effectiveness of teachers varies due to different genders, school locations; Respective aspects results of the teaching effectiveness of teachers vary due to different positions of teachers. 5. Correlation between multi-cultural competencies of teachers from Taichung elementary schools and the teaching effectiveness of teachers was medium. 6. Multi-cultural competencies of teachers from Taichung elementary schools revealed a positive prediction on teaching effectiveness of teachers with greatest prediction in “multi-cultural techniques” aspect of the teaching effectiveness. Finally, based on the research results, researchers provide suggestions as references to relevant education departments and for further research for reference.
