Background: A stable and productive health service is vital to any country. The health service would include the nursing profession, which comprises by far the greatest component of this service sector. Purpose: The main purpose of this study was to explore the Impact of nurse’s workplace stress, nurse’s experience toward end of life care, and nurse’s optimism on the care of patient’s satisfaction, patient’s quality of life and patient’s depression in Indonesian Hospital. Method: This research is quantitative, with case study design. Samples were taken with Cohen’s method to determine the sample size. The samples of nurses are 136 and 236 samples for patient. Data was analyzed with Anova, liner regression and chi square test. Result: Scores of nurses optimistic is -2.207 with probability 0.02 (< 0.05), which means nurses optimistic have negative influence on the emotional function in patients quality of life. Scores of nurses workplace stress that calculated value is -1.061 with probability 0.29 (> 0.05) on patients depression and 0.806 with probability 0.33 (> 0.05) on the general mental health in patients quality of life, which means that nurses workplace stress has no significant effect at patients depression, patients quality of life and patients satisfaction. Nurse with experience toward end of life care score value calculated physical function in quality of life -2.187 with probability 0.03 (< 0.05), the calculated role limitation in patient’s quality of life 2. 223 with a probability value 0.02 (< 0.05), which means the nurses experience toward end of life care have an influence on the quality of life of patients. Discussion: This is study shows that the nurses’ experience toward end of life care, nurse optimism will be effect on quality of life of the patients in the hospital. In this regarding nurses workplace stress they are have so many factors that influence respondent which should be identify, so in this study in other side show that the workplace stress have a positively relationship on biographical data of nurse and patients such as age, gender, level education, experience department and working experience. Conclusion: This is a challenge for nurses to build an optimistic nature also avoid stress in the workplace to improve the output quality of services in the hospital. This study also recommended that nurses to always improve the experience and depth of knowledge about end of life care.
