放克音樂之舞蹈視覺化研究與創作─以詹姆斯布朗舞蹈音樂性抽象線條演繹為例

摘要


音樂與舞蹈的線條研究,是個涵蓋時間、空間與視覺的綜合研究,如此奧妙的藝術連結概念讓人不經好奇起來。音樂與舞蹈乃是不同的藝術媒材之形態,其外在本質實屬截然不同,但內在本質其實互有相似共鳴與原則。如同廿世紀初,以音樂為其典範中最具代表性之抽象繪畫者,富有「聆聽繪畫,描繪音樂」之名的瓦西里‧康丁斯基(Wassily Kandinsky 1866-1944)所言,他相信不同藝術間能相互連結,實現更多「偉大的綜合」藝術。他以繪畫與音樂兩者不同藝術形式相互碰撞,激起層層漣漪,進而發現彼此間的共同性「內在需要」原則。如此原則下,音樂與舞蹈共同之原則將能透過外在造型基礎進一步去發現與連結,其康丁斯基發表的〈藝術的精神性〉與續篇〈點線面─繪畫元素分析論〉便是理論基礎。因此,本研究將特別針對造型基礎中其一元素「形」、「線條」進行深入分析,並透過康丁斯基其音感抽象作品,以及本研究者舞蹈之音樂性創作作品,相互綜合比較其造型線條原則性與本質性之關係。 由於康丁斯基音樂性繪畫之中心本質,相當強調人類精神之哲學─「內在需要」原則。因此,研究方法將採用質性研究,以「參與觀察法」與「深度訪談法」一同進行學術分析及釐清創作思維。其中,本研究者創作所聆聽的音樂範圍,以1960年代靈魂樂教父─詹姆斯‧布朗(James Brown 1933-2006)的放克音樂為主軸,由於本研究者在大學歷經長達近四年的街舞舞蹈基礎,同時更發現詹姆斯‧布朗開創的放克音樂風格與街舞舞蹈歷史脈絡之發展有關,他時常在歌唱中表現出強烈且豐富的音樂節奏與自然的舞動姿態,因此相當適合採用「參與觀察法」。另一方面,「深度訪談法」則以立意抽樣選定樣本,樣本對象將依據台灣專業的街舞老師,同時亦是本研究者曾經學習或互動的區域,其研究範圍進而擴大探討「放克樂與舞動精神之思辯」,希冀透過一場深入對談,以便獲得第一手資料蒐集。 綜觀整體,最終研究預期目標,主要分析康丁斯基音樂性作品與自身聆聽詹姆斯‧布朗放克音樂性作品之線條差異;解析音樂性線條與舞蹈線條關係,並提出其它藝術共通本質。希冀這般跨界般的精神能量,能創造出屬於個人的觀點,並開啟一道新的視覺視野與經驗。

Music lines and dance lines of research, is a time, space and vision of a comprehensive research, such a mysterious concept of art and people's exchanges, to people curious. Music and dance are different forms of art media. Although the external is different, but the intrinsic essence of the fact that they have similar resonance and principles. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944), in the name of "listening to painting and depicting music," was the most representative abstract painter of its model. He collided with each other in the form of painting and music, and stirs up layers of relations, and finds the common "inner need" principle between them. This principle is derived from Kandinsky published the "spirit of art" and sequel "point line flat - painting elements analysis theory" basis. Therefore, this study will focus on the form of its elements in a "shape", "line" for in-depth analysis, and through Kandinsky's music painting works , as well as the researchers dance music painting works, each other to compare of the lines principles . This research method uses qualitative research, "participatory observation" and "in-depth interview". Painting works of music to listen to the 1960s soul music godfather - James Brown (James Brown 1933-2006) of the funk music as the spindle. As the researchers, just in the university for nearly four years of dance foundation, but also found that the application of music, mostly with the hip-hop area. The strength of the dancing is often accompanied by a rather intense rhythm of music, so it is quite appropriate to use the " participation observation." On the other hand, the "In-depth Interview" is selected by conception of sampling selection. The sample object will be based on Taiwan's professional hip-hop teacher, and the scope of the study, to expand to explore the "funk and dancing spirit of thinking", hope through an in-depth dialogue, in order to obtain first-hand information collection. Finally, on the study of the expected objectives, the main analysis of Kandinsky music painting works and the researchers funk music painting works of the line differences; analysis of musical lines and dance lines, and put forward the common nature of other art.
