SPSS(Satistical Package for the Social Science) for Windows 10.0版統計套裝軟體進行本研究之假設驗證、樣本統計與量表檢定,利用統計分析方法來進行多項研究分析。
The study aims to discuss the relationships between perceptions of corporate uniforms, organizational values, and job stress, using the banking industry as the focus of this study. Business organizations often use uniforms as an organizational tool to manage their employees, imposing this convention to transmit organizational values and strengthen formalization of the corporation. However, formalization of a corporation usually creates more job stress for employees. According to studies, out of the workers surveyed, employees working in the banking industry experience stress most frequently compared to employees working in other industries. Most banking jobs require workers to dress in uniforms or in accordance with relatively strict clothing rules. To determine whether it is advantageous for organizations to invest appropriate manpower and funds into imposing corporate uniforms on employees is the main motive of this study. This study was carried out from November 2008 to December 2008, during which questionnaires were given out at various work places and collected soon after they were filled out. A total of 400 questionnaires were issued and 390 collected in return. Out of the returned questionnaires, seven included incomplete or invalid answers, leaving a total of 383 valid questionnaires. Ninety seven percent of the total number of questionnaires given out yielded valid answers. This study uses SPSS (Satistical Package for the Social Science) for Windows 10.0 to carry out various research analyses using statistical analysis methods such ashypothesis testing, sample statistics, and scale assessment. Based on the results of the analyses, the following points can be concluded: 1. A positive relationship exists between perceptions of corporate uniforms and organizational values. 2. No remarkable correlations exist between perceptions of corporate uniforms and job stress. According to analysis results, imposing corporate uniforms on employees not only transmits organizational values, making employees’ personal goals and organizational goals more mutually complementary, but also does not add to job stress and should be used as an effective management tool by organizations.
