摘要

本研究評估2005-2012年台灣的25家銀行之當期技術效率值與跨期Malmquist生產力指數，並揭露銀行跨年生產力效率變化。實證結果顯示，受評估期間銀行生產效率有9.00%的改善空間，其中有5.60%來自管理無效率，代表台灣銀行業期間樣本無效率之主因是管理問題所導致；受評估期間銀行有2.46%的麥氏生產力上升，而上升到主因是技術變動指數的2.18%進步所致。

This study evaluated the technical efficiency and malmquist productivity index of 25 banks in taiwan between 2005 and 2012. The paper further analysis the change of technical efficiency between two year. The empirical results show that there are 9.00% efficiency to improve on the input side. 5.6% of inefficiency is due to mismanagement, which is the major cause of bank inefficiency. During the period, the malmquist index of bank in taiwan has rise 2.46%, mainly because of technical change, which has rise 2.18%.
