This study is based on the year 2015 of the top five smartphones rankings from the investigation of the institute for information industry in Taiwan, where the top five brands are SAMSUNG, HTC, SONY, APPLE and ASUS. This study employs the correspondence analysis to explore and to understand the market positioning for these brands among Taiwanese consumers. The results can be used as references of marketing strategies for decision makers of these brands. From the perceptual map of the correspondence analysis, HTC and SAMAUNG are relatively competitive brands of each other. The rest of the three brands are relatively sole brands without competitive brands. For the features of the leading brand and safe identification system, APPLE performs the best among the five brands.
