漢字美術字文字造形設計於海報創作

文字是用來記錄語言的符號。中國歷代文字的千變萬化，從藝術角度可將文字形式分成三種方法：寫、刻、以及適用於不同需要而設計的。這些適用於不同需要而設計的文字，所強調的是意匠之美，即俗稱的「民間美術字」。本研究在於探討並分析歸納民間美術字八種技法－填加字、添飾字、巧借筆劃、複合字、組畫成字、組字成畫、嵌畫字、板書，融入於現代文字造形設計之中。並且透過古技法展現出漢字新藝之美，應用現代文字造形設計的海報創作形式表現。在研究創作過程中，運用符號學的兩軸論來設定創作主題與元素後，透過設計創作傳達現代生活的精神層面－即是將「文化」與「環境」議題詮釋文字造形設計。其研究結論可分成文獻分析成果、符號學的應用成果、文化與環境議題加入漢字意象與後續建議四大部份，並藉由海報創作實踐文字造形設計成果，達到探古以求新之目的。

The most important linguistic symbol for people is character, especially Chinese Character which has developed for many different generations. In the field of Typography Art, the function of Chinese Character is not only for writing or sculpture, but also an expressed form of folk culture. So we called it “Art of Chinese Character”. This study is to analyze the eight skills of Art of Chinese Character—added word, decorated word, ingenious adoption of strokes, compound word, embedding images in a word, embedding words in a image, inserted word, block prints. Then, applying a combination of modernism and traditionalism for poster creations is the purpose to show the beauty of the new Art of Chinese Character. Besides, the theory of Semiotics is like a formula when making creations. The method of this study is using Paradigm Axis and Syntagm Axis to set themes and elements of the creations. All of the Typography creations would show images of present events about culture and environment in our life. The conclusion of this study would be classified into four parts: the result of literature review, the application of Semiotics, new art of Chinese characters in cultural transmission and environmental issues, and suggestion for future researchers. Finally, the expressive purpose of the poster creations could carry on the past heritage and open up the new art of Chinese Character Typography.
