摘要

本研究最主要目的是結合MSSQL(Microsoft SQL)資料庫與RFID(無線射頻辨識系統)，企圖建構以PDA為架構的點名系統，期望縮短上課點名時間，有效解決教師冗長點名的問題。
本研究利用無線射頻辨識系統(RFID)的技術，結合Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition、VB和MicroSoft SQL Server 2005建構PDA的點名系統，將現有的紙上作業移至 PDA 上，並利用 PDA 的可攜性、時效性來改善這些問題，使其取代原有的機制。
研究結果顯示，此系統可減少無形或有形的成本，減少因為人為的誤差與不必要的流程，學生與家長可以即時得知學生的出缺席紀錄，教師可以因為這套系統獲得較多的便利，縮短處理繁雜事務時間，將多出的時間用在其他教學事務上。

The purpose of this study attempts to establish a PDA-based a roll- calling system integrated with the MSSQL (Microsoft SQL) database and RFID (the wireless radio frequency recognition system) in order to save the time for roll-calling in the class and efficiently resolve the problem of teachers spending a lot of time in roll-calling.
The RFID technology integrated with Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition, VB and MS SQL Server 2005 was used in this study to construct the PDA roll-calling system. The traditional paper work on roll-calling can be improved and its function can be substituted by using PDA’s features of portability and instant message.
The results of this study indicated that the PDA roll-calling system can reduce the visible or invisible cost. it can decrease the human errors and the unnecessary procedures. both teachers and parents can instantly get the up-to-date information about children’s attendance status. teachers can greatly benefit from the PDA roll-calling system as well as save a lot of time, and therefore they can have more free time to focus on other business.
