本研究的主要目的在於瞭解國小學生對於動物生殖之概念認知情形與迷思概念,並且探討不同年級、性別、地區、父母教育程度對於動物生殖概念是否有差異性。研究樣本取自台南縣、市國小四、五、六年級學生,分為開放式問卷、半結構式晤談、二階段測驗初稿試測、二階段測驗正式施測等四個階段進行。 主要之研究結果如下: 一、動物生殖概念認知情形 學生對動物生殖概念普遍不足,對於體外受精、無性生殖、變溫動物、卵胎生動物生殖方式、胎生動物養分的整個傳輸過程及方式所知有限。 二、動物生殖的迷思概念 1.要雌雄交配或精卵結合才能產生後代。 2.母雞孵蛋是因為怕小雞冷在幫牠取暖。 3.胎生動物母體的子宮、胃可直接提供食物或養分給胎兒。 4.卵胎生動物是生蛋的且像哺乳類動物一樣會喝母奶。 5.卵胎生動物會依環境所需,來決定是生蛋還是生小動物。 三、動物生殖概念測驗在年級、性別、地區、父母教育程度上,均達顯著差異。
The purposes of this study were to understand the cognition of the concepts and the misconceptions of animal reproduction held by elementary school students,and analyzing if there are differences in concepts of animal reproduction to students of diffenent grades,genders,area, and education level of parents. The research samples were taken from elementary school students of fourth to sixth grade in Tainan county and Tainan city.The data collection methods were based on open paper-and-pencil questionnaires, individual semi-structured interviews, two-tier test assessment and a formal test. The conclusive findings are: 1.The cognition of the concepts of animal reproduction held by elementary school students: The concepts of students are very week, most of them have limited understanding about external fertilization ,asexual reproduction, cold-blooded animal, reproduction method of ovoviviparous animals and the entire nutrient transmission process of vivipara animals. 2. Student’s misconceptions about animal reproduction: (1)Copulation or sperm egg union process is a must for animal reproduction. (2)The behavior of setting on eggs of hens is to warm young chickens in case they feel cold. (3)The womb, stomach of vivipara animals directly provide food or nutrients to their embryo. (4)Ovoviviparous animals lay eggs and suckle as mammalian animals do. (5)Ovoviviparous animals will lay eggs or give birth to young animals,it depends on environmental requirements. 3.The test of concepts of animal reproduction of elementary school students shows remarkable difference between grades,genders, area and education level of parents.
