摘要


跌倒是老年人容易發生的致命傷,因此在人口結構漸趨高齡化的社會,如何提高老年人在跌倒這方面的安全照護與品質是值得關注的議題;本研究針對容易跌倒的老年人,提出以無線射頻辨識系統(RFID)為基礎的語音跌倒通報系統,結合網路無遠弗屆的特性,應用在安養機構等單位上,作全天候不間斷的感測;即是在受照顧者身上配戴RFID Tag,在發生跌倒或緊急意外時,按下Tag上的呼叫鈕,通知並且與遠端的照護人員通話,達到即時通報、即時處理,以降低意外發生時伴隨的風險,也可以減輕照護人員在管理上的困難度,達到安全且可靠的照護體系。

Due to the ageing of world’s population, home accidents especially falls have become one of the major causes of mortality and morbidity in the elderly. Over past few years a number of wearable devices based on accelerometers have been tested to detect falls. Those waist-mounted or chest-mounted devices, however, were not only user unfriendly but also lack of 100% accuracy. This paper proposes an active wrist-wear RFID tag integrating with two-way radio functionality for elder falls notification that care givers are able to check the situation of user by two-way radio communication in real time to avoid waste of resource due to possible misjudgment.
