Pleomorphic adenoma is a common benign tumor of the salivary glands. In the major salivary glands it usually affects the parotid and for the minor glands those in the palate are frequently involved. Pleomorphic adenomas in the lips are less common. Here we report 3such cases, all were female, aged from 20 to 72 years old. In all patients the adenomas were located in the upper lips and were removed under local anesthesia at the OPD. The tumors measured 1.5~2.0 cm in size, and were encapsulated by thin membranes. No evidence of recurrence was found, the longest follow-up period was 1year 10 months and the latest case was followed for one and a half years.
