摘要

雙關語向來是譯界公認的難關之一，有的譯者認為翻譯雙關語要靠一點運氣，甚至歸類於不可譯之列。本文藉雙關語的翻譯佳例，蒐集整理雙關語的類別、圖解說明雙關句的結構方式並列舉可用翻譯技巧的類別，以為翻譯的參考。

Puns have been considered as one of the major challenges to translators. Some translators attribute satisfactory translations of puns to be coincidental or even impossible, This paper tries to cover different categories of puns, illustrate the structure of punning sentences with diagram and give account of possible methods of their translation through examples, as a means to better understanding of puns in light of translation.
