Perspective taking, emotional connection: The empathy training program

摘要


同理心是教師重要的溝通技能,具同理心的教師不但能協助學生課業,也能促進其社會情緒發展,然而僅有少數教師曾接受系統的同理心訓練。當教師能以同理心的態度與學生互動時,學生得蒙其惠,師生關係得以促進、教室互動更正向且具支持性。本文闡述同理心的意義及其教育上應用的價值,同時介紹臺北市立大學幼兒教育學系實施之同理心訓練方案,並呈現學生學習的部分成果。

Empathy is an important communication skill for teachers to develop. Empathic teachers could meet the academic and social emotional needs of students. But not many teachers had been trained. Students could be benefited when teachers communicated with empathic way, the relationship between teachers and students could be improved, the positive and supportive classroom environment could be built. This paper presents the meanings of empathy and education implications, as well as the empathy training program used in the department of Early Childhood Education University of Taipei.
