Peritoneal dialysis is a self-operating dialysis method. Because it is a kind of home treatment, the patient's cooperation and medical compliance are quite related to the occurrence of complications. According to the literature, non-compliance with dialysis prescriptions is prevalent in peritoneal dialysis cases. Due to advances in information technology in recent years, remote monitoring can be used to resolve patient's problems earlier, reduce unanticipated medical events, and avoid waste of medical resources. The automatic peritoneal dialysis machine has been upgraded, which is a model that can be transmitted remotely through a modem. The medical staff can monitor the patient's medical compliance through the transmitted data, and can find abnormal performance early, to achieve long-distance care, reduce the occurrence of related complications, and thus enhance the patient's willingness to receive peritoneal dialysis.
