運用Jung「積極想像」方法之社區藝術遇療：永康社區「愛細胞彩繪嘉年華」個案研究

Applying Jung's Active Imagination Technique in Community Art-encountering Healing : A Case Study on the ＂Painting Love Cells Carnival＂ Project in Taipei's Yongkang Community

摘要

個體與所屬社區是既「分」且「合」的整體，好比人以呼吸而與外在空氣保持「分／合」關係，然而，個體與社區未必皆能妥善維持自主調節「分／合」的功能，甚至因而不利心理健康。本研究以永康社區為對象，以文獻探討與行動研究發展社區藝術遇療方案。研究過程中，研究者效法Carl Gustav Jung（1875-1961）的「積極想像」（active imagination）方法，把「壁癌」轉化為「愛細胞」，設計「愛細胞彩繪嘉年華」方案來連結社區咖啡人文空間和兒童醫院兒癌病房。研究結果，參與者不但在藝術中活化社區人際關係也問候到重症病童，最後展示在社區咖啡人文空間的歷程性活動花絮，則讓「愛細胞」在社區保有療癒力。

One is an integral part of the whole social community in which the separated and the integrated constantly intertwine to form a duality. The community's biological relationship with this duality has an effect much like the body's physical and mental response to breathing. Dwelling in such an environment, the body has always either to choose between or transcend beyond the two binaries and therefore has been unhealthy. This study utilizes an action research method through documentary that looks into a art-encountering healing project in Taipei City's Yongkang Qingtian community. In this study, the author applies the essence of psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung's active imagination technique to create the ＂Painting Love Cells Carnival＂ art project, and to connect various coffee houses within the community and a children's hospital. The project uses efflorescence, which is commonly known in Taiwan as ＂wall cancer＂, as a metaphor to explore the possibility of mutating cancer cells into positive ＂love cells＂ through the power of art. As the individual spirits are nurtured through the process of creating art, the individuals also become more connected with their communities. Upon the project's conclusion, booklets documenting the event are put on display in various coffee houses within the community so that the healing power may continue to take effect.
