滋陰補腎方對streptozotocin誘發大鼠高血糖之降血糖功效

摘要


本研究探討滋陰補腎方對streptozotocin 誘發高血糖大鼠之降血糖作用及其作用機轉。結果顯示滋陰補腎方於0.5-2.0g/kg可明顯降低STZ誘發糖尿病鼠的血糖值和血中膽固醇及三酸甘油脂濃度,改善糖尿病鼠的耐糖量,並增加糖尿病鼠腦、肝、腎組織中SOD及GSH-Px的活性,綜合以上結果顯示,滋陰補腎方具有降血糖作用,而其降血糖作用機制可能與其增強抗氧化酶活性,可清除STZ自由基,減少STZ所形成的自由基對腦、肝、腎等組織細胞的損傷有關。

In the present study, we intended to evaluate the hypoglycemic effect of Gi-In-Bu-Shen-Fang (abbrev. GIBSF) on streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats. We also detected the levels of cholesterol, triglyceride in the serum and the levels of SOD GSH, GSH-Px, in the liver, kidney and brain. The results shown that GIBSF decreased the blood sugar levels of diabetic rats induced by streptozotocin. Concentration of serum cholesterol and triglyceride and activities of SOD, GSH and GSH-Px were increased and function of glucose tolerance was improved. These results suggested that GIBSF possessed hypoglycemic effect in STZ-treated rats. The hypoglycemic mechanisms were related to the increase in the activities of SOD, GSH and GSH-Px.
