膀胱過動症之中醫治療病例報告

A Case of overactive bladder treated with Chinese medicine

摘要

一名58歲停經後之婦女，有地中海型貧血的病史，也曾經因為右側乳房腫瘤接受手術切除與化療療程。主訴小便頻急已一年，經泌尿科診斷為膀胱過動症並給予毒蕈鹼阻斷劑類的慢性處方簽治療一年，小便頻急的症狀未見改善反而逐漸加重，嚴重影響生活品質，因此病人轉而就診中醫，經中藥與針灸治療二個月後症狀達到顯著改善、生活品質也隨之明顯提升。

A 58-years-old postmenopausal woman with history of Thalassemia, who also had received operation and chemotherapy because of right breast tumor. She complained urgency and frequency of micturition for one year. She was diagnosed as overactive bladder and was given prescription with anti-muscarinics by an urologist for one year. However, her symptoms became worse and severely affected the quality of her life, so she came to Chinese medicine for help. After a two-months-treatment of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, the symptoms of frequent and urgent urination improved a lot, promoted the quality of life obviously.
