中台醫專通識教育的實施與探討

摘要

為了促進人文、社會與科技文化的溝通，發展全方位的人格教育，本校在通識教育的實施上，除了教育部訂定的共同必修科目外，自八十一學年度起，每學期均開設包括人文科學、社會科學與自然科學三大領域的通識課程，供學生選修。選修人次每學期約有780人，佔在校人數的五分之一左右。就年級而言，五專二、三年級的選課人次最多，隨著年級升高，選課意願逐漸降低，二專部選課意願最低。若以科系而言，放射技術科、牙體技術科選課人次較多，醫務管理科最少。學生的修課以人文科學和自然科學較受喜好。

For the integration of culture, society and science knowledge, we offer a lot of elective courses in general education, including the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences curriculum besides the general required courses regulated by Education Department of the Republic of China. There are about 780 students selecting these courses each semester. The higher grade students are in, the less intention they have to select the courses. On the whole, courses in the humanities and natural sciences interest more students than tose in social sciences.
