摘要

禪佛教體證到宇宙人生的究極性真實，而此就極義的總體性體會，乃屬「通識」的勝義諦，具有對全人類的普遍價值，尤其落在當代的時代性來發用，如面對現代人的現代性文化危機時。例如，號稱二十世紀的心靈革命而邁向二十一世紀的所謂「新時代運動」，它其實枕是根源與禪佛教對心靈智慧的澈悟，由此而發展出來的對現代性存在危機進行最深的治療之一項全球性心靈運動。而當我們以「通識教育」來治療「專業教育」時，禪佛教正可以提供「通識教育」的勝義諦和本土化之思想資源。

For example, the spiritual evolution of the 20 century towards the 21 century, so called The New Age of Movement, is derived from the enlightment of spiritual wisdom of the Zen-Buddhism. And it has developed a global movement to cure the general education to cure the professional education, Zen-Buddhism can offer us the supreme meaning and localization for the general education.
