大學通識教育課程規劃之實例研究

Curriculum Planning on General Education: A Case Study

摘要


大學通識教育不必有相同的內容或形式,因為不同的大學,會依不同的時代、社會、與文化背景,以及不同的治校理念及目標任務,而產生不同的通識教育內容。唯有一大群該校教師持續不斷地參與,才能保持通識教育目的之整體性理想的實踐,而且每所大學需要找出最適合自己的作法。因此,為了能夠符合與實踐本校通識教育之目標與理念,課程的實證研究與規劃是以紙筆問卷為基礎,結合座談會方式,使校內關心通識教育的教師共同參與探討通識教育課程之規劃方向與重點。此一研究模式由三個部分所組成:第一部分,以開放式紙筆問卷與座談會的二種方式,蒐集同仁對本校教育之目標、哲學理念、與通識教育內容分配的意見;第二部分,將第一部分蒐集之資料予以彙整分類,再以封閉式紙筆問卷與座談會的二種方式分析統合;第三部分,規劃與編寫本校之通識教育課程(專指正式課程而言)。本研究小組基於本校各學院發展之特色,規劃各學院開設近程與中長程階段理想的人文、社會與自然通識教育課程。

There aren't necessarily the same contents or forms for general education, because different universities will depend on the age, society, and the cultural background, and depend on distinct methods and goal's missions of administer university, produce the different contents of general education. Only a host of schoolteachers continued participate in the planning of general education, then can maintain the practice of the entirety ideal of general education purpose, and any university must look for the most fitted method of himself. Therefore, for that can conform and practice to my target and ideal of general education, the practice research and planning of the curriculum is based on examination papers of paper-pen and combined informal discussion meetings. The research mode is composed of three parts: the first, there are an examination paper of paper-pen of open form and an informal discussion meeting, and collect opinions of education target, philosophy ideal, and contents allotment of general education for my colleagues; the second, there category and classify the results of the first part, then analyze and integrate by use as an examination paper of paper-pen of closed form and the second informal discussion meeting; finally, there plan and compile the general education formal curriculum of NTUT. This research subcommittee plans the general education formal curriculums of short, middle, and long ranges of colleges of NTUT on the basis of characteristic and distinguishing of each college.
