摘要

本文旨在說明唐君毅先生文化觀的基本特色―立人極以求人文化成天下。研究的線索由思想史（百年來的文化問題意識）與唐君毅先生的生命史(life history)來探索唐氏文化觀的形成歷程。先說明唐氏畢生學問環繞的幾個生命經驗，由此說明解析與證明心靈主體（人極）的存在，再由心靈的發展說明世界的肯定與有限（過、錯與惡），並見出唐氏文化發展的理念，這樣便形成唐氏道德主義、理想主義、人文主義的文化觀性格。

I want to explain the basic characteristic of Tang, Jun-Yi's cultural theory in this article. It's ”standing ren-ji（人極） to bildung the world”. The researching clues are the history of modern thoughts and Tang, Jun -Yi's life history. First, I explain some life experiences to prove the existence of 'Ren-ji（人極）'. Second, I show the affirming and the limits of the world from the developing of 'Ren-ji（人極）'. Then we can see the ideas of Tang, Jun -Yi's cultural developing. So we can illustrate the characters of Tang, Jun-Yi's cultural theory. They are moralism, idealism and humanism.
