齒內治察台灣人牙齒之參考長度

Reference length of Taiwanese Teeth in Endodontics

摘要

本研究利用Vernier caliper (精密度為0.05mm)來測量台灣人恆齒長度,其結果如下: (1)就上顎牙齒而言, 中門齒平均長度為23.12mm;側門齒為21.89mm ;犬齒為25.90mm; 第一前日齒為21.15mm;第二前臼齒為21.21mm;第一臼齒為19.89mm ; 第二臼齒為19.55mm0 (2)就下顎牙齒而言, 中門齒平均長度為19.33mm ;側門齒為20.16mm ; 犬齒為 24.68mm ; 第一前臼齒為21.79mm;第二前臼齒為21.28mm; 第一臼齒為19.66mm ; 第二臼齒為19.66mm。由以上結果得知台灣人牙齒平均長度與目本人相近,但較白人或黑人為短。

The lengths of permanent teeth from Taiwanese were measured with Vernier caliper with an accuracy Of 0.05 mm in this study. The results were as follow as : (1) of the maxilla, the mean tooth length was 23.12 mm in the central incisors, 21.89 mm in the lateral incisors, 25.90 mm in the canines, 21.15 mm in the first premolars, 21.21 mm in the second premolars, 19.89 mm in the first molars and 19.55 mm in the second molars. (2) Of the mandible, the mean tooth length was 19.33 mm in the central incisors, 20.16 mm in the lateral incisors, 24.68 mm in the canines, 21.79 mm in the first premolars, 21.28 mm in the second premolars, 19.66 mm in the first molars and 19.66 mm in the second molars. The mean length obtained closely ap-proximated to Japenese length, but seemed to be shorter than Caucasians or Negroes.
