台南老街之居民環境意識調查研究

摘要

從1997年開始，台南市政府舉辦了不少有關都市設計與都市計畫的會議。顯示著市政府有心讓台南古都「變臉」。然而，本市的主人翁「居民們」是否也有如此想改變他們的居住空間呢?本研究本著台南市應該屬於居民而非官方。居民的意見應被尊動的原則下，對居民做了相關問卷調查。且基於都市發展過程中，「商店行」最具重要指標地位。故以具歷史意義之商店街之居民或受雇人員為調查對象。調查結果顯示居民對台南的離心意識已達警戒狀態。有四條街道的6成居民不想再永住於此；尤其是中正路近9成的居民不想永住。如此結果；本研究針對調查結果對各商店街做商當評估與建議。期能提供居民的想法給相關單位參考以供有效改善。

This research starts due to the Government desire to change the towen and had held many meetings on it from 1997. Wondering whether the residents would support the change or not. This research believes that the sound of residents should also be respected. Not only they live there but also they are the one who use the facilities there. They would know more what this place need than any other people. Focusing on its historical shopping streets, the residents or the employee were the target of these questionnaires. The results of questionnaires show that the residents of Tainan people have a strong desire for circumstance-revolution. Most of residents do not want to liver for long here any more. In addition, through questionnaires of inhabitants’ environmental consciousness, current appearances of shopping street environments were objectively studied. It is hoped that the result of this study will be supply better direction for government to improve those historical shopping in Tainan. supply better direction for government to improve those historical shopping in Tainan.
