本研究利用資料包絡分析法估計台灣地區農業合作社場之經營效率,技術效率及規模效率,並運用Malmquist生產力指數(MPI)來衡量各評估單位生產力變動情形,目的在建構一套可供管理決策參考的績效評估模型。本研究以果菜類與禽畜類農業合作社場之相對經營效率值(CCR)與MPI效率變動值,將農業合作社場區分為9大類型,其中有9家果菜類與2家禽畜類農業合作社場為高競爭力與進步快速之社場,尤以台東縣釋迦生產合作社與台東縣養羊生產合作社最為明顯;雲林縣漢光果菜生產合作社處於競爭力低且進步緩慢之果菜類農業合作社場,而宜蘭縣、養鴨生產合作社,該類禽畜類農業合作社場競爭力雖高,卻為進步落後之社場。
The purpose of the study was to develop a model of performance evaluation for decision-makers. The data envelopment analysis (DEA) was employed to estimate the overall efficiency, technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the agriculture cooperatives. In addition, the DEA and Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) were utilized to evaluate the variations of unit performance. The agriculture cooperatives were divided into nine categories based on the values of CCR and MPI. The results indicate that nine fruit-and-vegetable and two fowl agriculture cooperatives are high competitive with a high level of progress, especially the Syger and sheep agriculture cooperatives in Taitung County. In contrast, Han-Kuan fruit-and-vegetable agriculture cooperative in Yunlin County is less competitive with a lower level of progress. In addition, the duck agriculture cooperative in Yilan County is very competitive but it has much less progress comparing with agriculture cooperatives.
