The number and diversity of organized interest groups working in the aviation policies of Taiwan have increased substantially since the open sky in 1997, such as business groups, green groups etc. Less is known, however, how interest groups influence in the aviation policy processes. Since airlines have been as our primary means of long distance transportation, it seems that as a society, interest groups can play a significant role in government policymaking. Certainly those interest groups and lobby in the aviation policy continues, even more impact the final development and outcomes. This paper explored the relationship between interest groups and aviation policies, and initiated possible aviation policies as discussion issues. In the final, also recommends that positive activity by aviation policy interest group aimed at social change and national resource management through different parties can be fairness, and successful in policymaking.
