質子交換膜燃料電池流道內之碳擋板位置最佳化研究

摘要


本文針對質子交換膜(PEM)直通管式燃料電池流道之三維模型,利用流體模擬軟體CFD-ACE+及田口方法(Taguchi methods)找出最佳之流道內碳擋板位置,以提升燃料使用效率,進而增加電池整體性能。在數值模型中,使用那維爾-史都克斯方程式(Navier-Stokes equation)作為流場的統御方程式配合能量與成份守恆方程式及電化學相關方程式求解燃料電池內之濃度及電流密度之分佈。本文之研究結果顯示,應用田口方法進行最佳化分析,適當的改變流道內碳擋板位置,可使得流道的濃度分佈更加均勻,相對的也提升了電池的性能。

The performance of the Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell, PEMFC, of a straight channel with baffles was investigated in this study. The computational fluid dynamics analysis software CFD-ACE+was used to perform the three dimensional model analysis. In order to increase the fuel efficiency and to improve the cell performance, the Taguchi method was applied to find the optimal positions of the baffles. The proper allocations of the baffles can improve the distribution uniformity of concentration in the channels and consequently the performance of fuel cell, as the simulation results show, hence, the fuel cell performance was then getting improved.
