Actinomycosis is a rare disease occurring in genitourinary tract. The infection route is usually direct invasion of the actinomyces into damaged skin. The treatment includes wide surgical excision and prolonged usage of systemic antibiotics. A 32-year old male patient of penile actinomycosis is reported here. The patient visited our hospital presenting a penile nodule with severe tenderness for 2 months. Wide excision was done. Several sulfur granules with peripheral radiating clubs were revealed microscopically. Antibiotics therapy was carried out for 8 weeks, and the wound healed well. He was then followed up for 1 year postoperatively without any sign of recurrence.
