Malignant fibrous histiocytomas (MFH) are now recognized as the most common soft tissue sarcomas in adults. These tumors are relatively rare in head and neck region. Accounting for 1 to 3% of cases of MFH overall. The malignant forms of this tumor are extremely rare in the maxillary sinus. In this report we described our experience with a case of MFH of the maxillary sinus. In addition we reviewed the pathological characteristics, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of these tumors.
