Head and neck foreign bodies are commonly encountered at otolarygologic clinic. Foreign body in the submandibular space, however, is very rare. This foreign body, when neglected, may possibly cause lateral pharyngeal or cervical abscess. This article presents an iatrogenic foreign body in the submandibular space. The 28-year-old male got his amputated molar tooth lost in the submandibular space when receiving tooth extraction. The tooth was removed via exploration of the submandibu-lar space uneventfully.
