「桃花過渡」小戲之形成探源

The Study on the Origins of Crossing Tauhua

摘要


關於《桃花過渡》小戲之形成,近十餘年多有論者以為當源自於明萬曆刻本潮劇《蘇六娘》。然本文在檢視今日各劇種中的《桃花過渡》小戲,以及查驗萬曆本《蘇六娘》與《桃花過渡》小戲的關係中,發現萬曆本《蘇六娘》缺乏《桃花過渡》小戲中的核心元素。因此在既有的文獻與田野調查資料中,重新推論《桃花過渡》小戲,是由源自於褒歌形式的民歌所形成的歌舞小戲,並發展成閩南各地方劇種的共通劇目,其後才受到潮劇「蘇六娘」故事的影響。

For the past decade, studies have shown that the drama, Crossing Tau Hua(桃花過 渡), was originated from the opera source script of Chaozhou (潮州)entitled Su Liuniang (蘇六娘)in Ming dynasty. But the Opera Su Liuniang in Ming dynasty lacks the plot about “Crossing Tau Hua (by ferry across the river)”. Thus the Opera Su Liuniang is unlikely to be the source of Crossing Tau Hua, I guess. Based on the analysis above, we are managing to find other sources for the drama “Crossing Tau Hua” . And we found that Crossing Tau Hua is a folk song spread in Zhangzhou(漳州). When the ballad has been into the troupe, the troupe also refers to many types of common repertoire. So we could conclude that the opera Crossing Tau Hua was changed to the transition from a folk song Crossing Tau Hua.
