高爾夫球木桿之模態分析

Modal Analysis of Golf Club Wood Driver

摘要


本文探討單獨球頭與完整高爾夫球桿之振動特性,分別對整支球桿與單獨球頭進行有限元素分析,由所得的模態參數來判斷其兩者間有何差異及關聯性,結果顯示,在對應到的模態自然頻率百分比差大慨在14%左右。並也對一高爾夫球木桿作振動模態分析,分別對三種握把處不同邊界狀態,自由、固定與彈簧等邊界進行分析,經模態分析後可求得各個狀態的模態參數,如自然頻率與模態振型。並解釋各模態的振型所代表的物理意義。並找出彈簧與自由、固定等邊界三者之間的關係,結果顯示當彈簧邊界之彈簧常數很大時會趨近於固定邊界狀態,若其值很小時,則會趨近於自由邊界狀態。因此可藉由分析模型預測實際握桿狀態。

This paper studies vibration characteristics of golf club head and a whole golf club wood driver, respectively. Finite element analysis is performed to obtain modal parameters of both the golf club and its head, respectively. Results show that the golf club with the fiber composite shaft decreases about 14% of natural frequencies in comparison to the golf club head. The golf club in three types of boundary conditions, i.e., free-free, free-fixed and free-spring, is also analyzed to compare their modal frequencies and mode shapes. The physical interpretations of mode shapes are described. When the spring constants at spring end approach to zero, the golf club act just like a free-free boundary. On the contrary, for the spring constants approaching to infinity, the modal characteristics of the golf club are similar to those of the free-fixed boundary. The realistic boundary condition for grips can be falled between the free-free and free-fixed boundary conditions. The modal properties of golf club in grips condition can then be predicted.
